Mrs. Montgomery’s Family and Consumer Science classes focused on dining etiquette and proper table setting this week. Students practiced setting a formal place setting, learned table manners, and discussed why etiquette is still important in modern dining. They had fun working hands-on and are now ready to impress at the next family meal!

🍀 Our 4-H members had an exciting opportunity! They got to meet tornado chaser Will Clay and check out his famous storm-chasing truck, the Dominator. Students learned what it takes to be a real storm chaser and got a firsthand look at the thrill—and science—behind the job! 🌪️✨

This week, Mr. Wooten’s Middle School Outdoor Ed class is building miniature wilderness-survival dioramas using natural materials they've gathered outside. Students are sharpening their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while learning more about terrain, weather protection, and natural resources.

Today, Coach Lewis took his Careers class outside for a campus clean-up, demonstrating the importance of taking pride in one’s school while also providing a service to others. He's teaching our middle schoolers that skills like these matter in every career---and in life! Thank you to these awesome kids and Coach Lewis!

Huge thank you to this morning's guest speakers, Jessica Randolph and Lane Pohlsander. Mrs. Randolph spoke to the middle school students about the important topics of mental health and physical wellbeing, and Mr. Pohlsander delivered a great message to our high schoolers about mindset, goal-setting, and self-affirmations. It was a very impactful Fast Friday session!
