MS/HS students: We have postponed AR Checkpoint 4 one week due to students' inability to check out books because of the weather. The new due date for 18 points is Friday, February 6th.

🚨UPDATE🚨: Basketball Game against Gans has been postponed due to hazardous road conditions.   Basketball Homecoming has been postponed until February 3rd, against Keota. The ceremony will start at 5:15. As of now, the basketball game against Gans is still on. We will update here if that changes.

Our Gore students had a successful Local Show last night. They all did an amazing job showing their livestock projects that they have been working so hard on all year.

Rhylee Davis- Grand Champion Chicken and Grand Champion Rabbit. He also brought his R/C Car that he built for the engineering exhibit.
Corrinne Ohl- Reserve Champion Rabbit.
Paisley Oxtoby- Grand Champion Heifer and Grand Champion Jr. Showman for Cattle.
Ransom Richardson- Reserve Grand Champion Heifer and Grand Champion Sr. Showman for Cattle.
Alex Perry- Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Sheep. She was also Grand Champion Jr. Showman for Sheep.
Luke Wisdom- Grand Champion Goat and Grand Champion Sr. Showman for Goats.
Wyatt Chitty- Reserve Grand Champion Goat and Grand Champion Jr. Goat Showman for Goats.
Bryce Ford- 3rd Place Goat.

🎉Yesterday these students had a great day at the State-Wide Wildlife CDE Contest!! As a team they placed 5th in the Sr. Division!! Also Ransom Richardson placed 8th highest individual in the Sr. Division!! These kids have worked very hard on this contest this year!!

Congrats to Jaydan Gates (freshman) for placing 4th at Tulsa Nationals this weekend against some really tough competition. This kid is going places! 🤼🏴‍☠️💪🏼

Some of our youth wrestlers traveled to Locust Grove this morning and got 5th place overall at the John Cowan Memorial Tournament. 🏴‍☠️🤼

Our HS academic team won area runner-up today! Next stop is the state tournament! Congrats to these awesome students and Coach Wooten!🏴‍☠️🧠🙌🏼

🎸Today we had former Gore Band member Anka Leyva stop by our Guitar class! He shared his pedal setup, talked about his passion for music and guitar, and gave our students a great look at where dedication and creativity can lead!

Congratulations to Addison Douglass! She is the winner of the Missouri State School of the Arts 2026 Juried Exhibition for Art & Design.
