🏀Basketball Booster Club Meeting January 6th

Moving Forward with Purpose.

Great day of wrestling at the Coweta tournament. We tied for 4th out of 19 teams! Jaydan Gates finished 2nd place, dropping a close 3-4 finals match. Kaydin McCartney and Bladin McCartney placed 3rd. Everyone showed up and wrestled tough! 🏴☠️🏴☠️

Only 3 adults were brave enough to take on the high schoolers in volleyball today, but we showed them how it's done!🏐💪🏼

🎄Merry Christmas from the middle and high school staff! (Several important people are missing, but we tried😅)

🏀💚 Calling all Gore alumni! Join us for the 2nd Annual Gore Alumni Basketball Game on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Gore Public Schools Event Center. Lace up your sneakers, reconnect with classmates, and enjoy a night of fun while supporting our school. Registration is due February 4th!

🎄✨ One of Santa’s elves was spotted at Gore Elementary! We think she tried to blend in and attend school for the day, but after seeing the kids’ sweet reactions filled with love and excitement, she decided to stay just the way she is — a wonderful Christmas elf spreading holiday cheer! ❤️

🤼♀️🏴☠️Our Gore Pirate wrestlers beat the Stilwell Indians 60-21 in tonight's dual! They are a fun group of boys to watch. Way to go, guys!

🏀The Sequoyah County Armstrong Bank Tournament tips off January 8–10.

🎄Gore FFA Christmas Party is coming up!! We hope to see everyone there! It will be a fun night with a movie, games and food!! 🍿🎬

Next week is an important week for our middle and high school students as we prepare for semester tests. Teachers will review material taught first semester on Monday and Tuesday. This is very important for ALL students, even those who are exempt from testing. Students will take semester tests for their odd-numbered classes in 90-minute blocks on Wednesday, followed by tests for their even-numbered classes in 90-minute blocks on Thursday.
Semester tests are cumulative and count for 10% of each student’s final grade. Students may qualify for test exemptions based on their grades and attendance (see the student handbook for detailed criteria). The final exemption list will be provided to teachers and posted outside Mrs. Andrews’s office on Monday.
