GHS CAMPUS SAFETY/PARKING REMINDERS:
The safety of our students, staff, and visitors is always a priority. We want to remind our student drivers of a few important expectations regarding parking and morning arrival and make parents aware of these rules as well.
🟢 Gravel Parking Lot (in front of the ag building): This lot is reserved ONLY for seniors and students attending ICTC.
🟢 Event Center Student Parking Lot: ALL other student drivers must park in the designated student parking area in front of the event center.
🚫 HANDICAPPED PARKING: Students without a valid handicap parking permit should NEVER park in the designated handicapped spaces near the event center. This is a violation of the law, regardless of the time of day.
🏫 MORNING ARRIVAL EXPECTATIONS: Upon arriving at school, students are expected to exit their vehicles and enter the school building promptly. Students should NOT remain in their vehicles or congregate in the parking lots waiting for the bell to ring. Our parking lots are not designated student gathering areas, and we need students inside the building where proper supervision can be provided.
⚠️ Students who fail to follow these expectations will be subject to disciplinary consequences.

Mr. Reading and Coach Lewis took a group of students to the Muskogee Little Theatre last night to enjoy a live performance of The Crucible! What a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience classic literature beyond the classroom while supporting Muskogee's performing arts community. They had a great time!

🚗Parking: There are 30 reserved parking spaces on the Regent Campus for Gore on the West side of the main building and gym. They are marked off and are first come first serve bases. Overflow parking might be found in the Ace Hardware Shopping Center parking lot south of Regent.
‼️Gates open at 5pm with Kickoff at 7pm.
🎟️Admission: $7 for adults, $5 for students
🏃♀️🏃Tuesday at Checotah was Cross Country’s last regular season meet. Our JH kids ran well all year! Our HS runners are continuing to get faster before Regionals next Saturday. 🏴☠️

River Johnson finished up her season with a time of 10:17. Eli Montgomery ran an 8:27 mile and finished in 19th place.

Sixth grade students in Mrs. Smith’s class put their learning to the test with a hands-on osmosis lab. They observed how water molecules move across a selectively permeable membrane from an area of high water concentration to low water concentration.
We love seeing our Pirates learning through hands-on experiences!

🏴☠️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: KEETON ROWE🏴☠️
When Keeton was younger, he imagined himself becoming an NBA player. Some of his favorite childhood memories are the times he spent playing basketball with his dad. Throughout high school, Keeton has stayed busy participating in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Of all his accomplishments, he is especially proud of his grades and the hard work he has put in to earn them. One person Keeton especially admires is Coach Estes, who has become much more than just a coach to him. Over the years, Coach Estes has also become someone Keeton considers an important part of his high school experience. Coach Estes said, “Keeton is a smart, hardworking kid, who is extremely competitive and motivated. He will continue to be successful in anything he chooses to do. It has been a pleasure coaching him and having him in class.”
Mrs. Wilkinson added, “Keeton is a sweet and well-mannered young man who doesn't want to let you down. He always strives for the best.” As he looks back on his time at Gore, Keeton hopes his classmates will remember him as someone who was always kind and genuine. After graduation, Keeton plans to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a degree in Computer Science. We are excited to see where the future takes him and wish them the very best in this next chapter of life.

After graduation, Keira plans to attend ICTC to earn her LPN and eventually become a travel nurse, combining her love of helping and caring for others with her dream of traveling the world. One of Keira’s favorite childhood memories is going to the movies with her dad and Keeton. During high school, some of her favorite memories have come from participating in cheer and softball alongside her amazing teammates and making friendships and memories she’ll never forget. Keira especially admires Coach Taylor Lewis, who has always been there for her through both difficult moments and exciting milestones. Keira describes her as the best coach she could have asked for. Coach Lewis said, “Keira is always willing to help out and be a leader when needed. She is one that the underclassman can look to if they need advice. She has been fun to coach the last 4 years.”
Coach Carter added, “Keira is hardworking, kind, competitive, and a great teammate. She gives her best, supports those around her, and never backs down from a challenge.” As she looks back on her high school years, Keira is most proud of how much she has grown. She has learned to keep going when things don’t go according to plan and to believe in herself along the way.
