Our Gifted and Talented seniors just returned from an awesome week in Washington, D.C.! They spent the week touring historical landmarks like the White House, the National Mall, and Arlington National Cemetery. A member of Congressman Brecheen’s staff even gave them a private tour of the Capitol, where they got to enjoy the view from Speaker Johnson’s balcony. They also had time to play, explore, and take in a Wizards game. Huge thank you to Mrs. Kinion for making this happen for these students, as well as Mr. Tidwell for going as the male sponsor. What an amazing week!

Our HS Track team ran at Checotah today against a lot of larger schools and in high winds and still improved a lot of times. They collected 5 medals (top 3), had 7 top 5s, 14 top 10s, & 17 top 15s. Proud of the way all of this kids battled against competition and weather conditions today.

PARENTS OF JUNIORS: All juniors must attend ACT Bootcamp on Monday, April 6th at the event center. This includes students who usually attend ICTC. (Their absences at ICTC have been excused. ) ACT Bootcamp will begin at 8AM and conclude by 2:30PM. It is designed to prepare our juniors for taking the ACT, which they will do on April 14th and 15th. Lunch will be provided in the event center, or students may bring their own.

Our JH Track team went to Keys yesterday and ran well. The 7th and 8th graders competed as one division and 6th was in a separate division.
We had a lot of Top 15s & more Personal Bests set again this week. Our kids are getting faster and throwing further with every opportunity they have.

💃🕺 Junior High Dance 2026 🕺💃
We had such an amazing time at the Junior High Dance on Friday night! The pictures say it all—lots of smiles, laughter, and a dance floor that stayed full all night long. These kids truly danced the night away! 🎶✨
Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night so special. We appreciate all the help from those who set up, chaperoned, organized, and supported this event—it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Our HS Track team was just 1 of the 28 teams at the Wilburton meet today for their first meet this year and the boys placed 3rd overall! Lots of medals brought back and a lot of Personal Bests set today. Their next meet is Thursday (4/2) at Checotah.
