🏴‍☠️💚🖤 GORE PIRATES SHINE AT THE CHEROKEE LANGUAGE BOWL! 🖤💚🏴‍☠️ We are so proud of our Junior High teams for representing Gore Schools with excellence at the Cherokee Language Bowl! 🥉 Gore Paint Clan (Girls Team) brought home 3rd Place! 🥈 The Goats (Guys Team) earned an impressive 2nd Place finish!

Gore High School proudly took two teams to the Cherokee Nation Language Bowl! We are incredibly proud of these students for representing Gore Schools with excellence, leadership, and Pirate pride. Way to go! 💚🖤

🏴‍☠️Congratulations to Maddison Douglass for placing 5th in the Regional meet and qualifying for STATE!!! 👏🏻 She hit 3 PR’s and put up a total of 635 lbs! 💪🏼 Also, great job to Mylee, Ameila, and Mikayla for their accomplishments this season.

ATTENTION BUS RIDERS: We will be running just 3 buses tomorrow morning instead of 4. All bus riders will be picked up; however, it could take up to 10-15 minutes longer than usual for some students to be picked up. Route #2 (Tidwell) and Route #1 (Jill) will be combined. Route 2 will run its usual route pickups at Orchard Rd to Dollar General (Fin and Feather). Tidwell will then pick up the usual Route #1 students but in reverse order—Red Light Tower Rd, then to 10A, the Y, and then back to town. Route #4 (Curtis) and Route #2 (Tidwell) will run from Souters back to town. Route #4 will run its usual route pickups, then Curtis will continue to pick up from Souters back to town. It’s very likely that we will need to run only 3 buses after school as well. We will update on our app and social media ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

🫀Mrs. Kinion's Anatomy and Physiology class is studying the circulatory system and had the opportunity to dissect sheep hearts today. They were able to see the atria, ventricles, and the arteries and valves of the body’s hardest working muscle!

🐄This past week we had several students go and compete at the Muskogee Regional Junior Livestock Show!! Luke Wisdom went and showed his wether goat!! Wyatt Chitty went and showed both of his wether goats!! Ransom Richardson went and showed his AOB heifer and placed 2nd in his class and was 3rd overall AOB!! Then Paisley Oxtoby went and showed her red Angus heifer and placed 1st in her class!! Let's give a huge round of applause for these students and all of their hard work this year with their animals!!

🏴‍☠️💪🏼The Gore Pirate wrestlers showed up and showed out at the 3A East Regionals in Blackwell today, finishing 9th out of over 30 teams. We had 4 placers--Kaydin McCartney 2nd place, Devon Mannon 4th place, Jaydan Gates 5th place, and Bladin McCartney 6th place (State Alternate). Congrats to these guys headed to State! Outstanding accomplishment!

🎉Today 5 of our High School band members took their solos to district solo/ensemble. Amelia White, Katlyn West, and Rylan Johnson all received excellent ratings. Bailey Pack and Clayton White received superior ratings and both will be advancing to the OSSAA State Solo/Ensemble competition in April at the OSU campus in Stillwater! 💚WAY TO GO!!🏴‍☠️

🏴‍☠️Congrats to the Cunningham twins for placing 4th and 6th today at the Oklahoma Indoor State Track Meet! Weston ran a 8.87 for 4th place and Trenton a 9.15 for 6th, representing track for Gore Pirates. We are so proud of these awesome young men!🏴‍☠️

🏴‍☠️Kaydin McCartney became Gore Public Schools' first wrestling state qualifier last year. This year, he's at a new weight class and hopes to top that.
