OCA Basketball All-Star by Class jackets were presented today to Cain Cooper and Tate Brooksher. They join a select group of Gore athletes to receive this honor. Congratulations young men!

The senior trip to Branson, Missouri was a success. The kids had a great time, and lots of great memories were made.

The HS track team competed Friday at Coweta against a field of 21 teams, all in classes 3A-6A except us. Zac Comer medaled in the Discus by placing 3rd in the HS division. Alevia Reasnor dominated the 9th grade division in the Shot and Disc, winning both events and setting new PBs in both.  Against that level of competition, our kids stepped up and set a lot of Personal Bests, Season Bests, and 11 top 15s! 🎉The Gore Character Council was treated to lunch at The Kove on Tuesday by a community member. This luncheon was to have the students read the menu, and order for themselves. We worked with menus for decimals and reading all while staying within a budget. The event helped all to practice life skills in a real setting. Also, they worked on manners and effective communication to get the food they wanted. It was truly a life skill moment.🍔🥗

Mrs. Smith's 7th graders completed an engineering design project, building oil derricks out of straws, tape, and paper clips. The winning design was completed by Kennedy Duke, Saige Chandler-Garrison, Kendall Hiler and Blakely Marsh, which held 1,481.17 grams.

We have multiple opportunities available, including morning and afternoon routes, and part-time positions for activity trips and substitute driving.
