💚🏈The Pirates had another great morning with the littles today! Huge thank you to Mrs. Pugh and her staff for allowing Gore High School Football Team the opportunity to spend time with them!

🎓SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: NATALIE LEWIS🎓
When Natalie was younger, she imagined herself traveling into a world like Narnia and exploring the realm—and it seems that sense of adventure is still part of who she is today. One of Natalie’s favorite childhood memories is going skateboarding with her brother and, as she proudly puts it, “schooling him.” She especially admires Mr. Reading, who she says is easy to communicate with and always looks out for his students. During high school, Natalie has enjoyed being involved in Yearbook and Talent Search. She is most proud of meeting the goals she has set for herself and continuing to learn and grow, knowing that doing so has taken time, effort, and patience. Natalie hopes her classmates and teachers will remember her as someone who was kind.
Mrs. Wilkinson said, “Natalie is a sweet young lady who has come out of her shell a lot. She is always willing to help.”
Mr. Reading added, “I just like the kid! Not only has she been an excellent student in my classes, but she is so dependable and willing to help when needed.”
After graduation, Natalie plans to attend college, move, and travel, embracing new experiences and opportunities along the way. When Kyler was younger, he imagined himself as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fighting crime—but these days, he has his sights set on a very different kind of future! One of Kyler’s favorite childhood memories is going frog catching with his grandpa, a simple memory that has stuck with him over the years. He especially admires his mom, describing her as the kindest person he knows and someone who always tries to do everything for him. Throughout high school, Kyler has been involved in basketball, baseball, FCA, National Honor Society, and Gifted & Talented. He is especially proud of his academic achievements, saying they are the hardest thing he has ever accomplished. He hopes his classmates and teachers will remember him as someone who worked hard to be successful. Kyler has been highly regarded by his teachers over the years.
Mrs. Staley said, “Kyler is always willing to lend a helping hand to teachers and those around him. He is dependable, respectful, and never hesitates to step up when help is needed.
Mr. Tidwell added, “Kyler is very driven and self motivated. He gets along well with all students and is always willing to help with anything. He has a very bright future ahead of him.”

Naomi said her favorite class is Mrs. Kinion’s Anatomy & Physiology class because Mrs. Kinion is a really good teacher, and the class is very interactive. Naomi admires Mr. Reading because he treats people with kindness and has a passion for students. One goal for her future is to own her own business or a part of a business.
Cooper said his favorite class is Speech because he likes Mr. Reading. He said he admires Mr. Reading because he has been a positive influence in his life. One goal Cooper has for the future is to one day have Mr. Reading attend a concert hosted by his band.

Audra said her favorite class is Mr. Murray’s English class because it’s fun, and he is a really good teacher. A person she admires is her mom because she has always supported her and helped her learn more. One goal for her future is to become a FACS teacher or an ultrasound technician.
Rylee said his favorite class is football because it’s fun. A person he admires is his dad because he gives good advice. One goal for his future is to go to state in powerlifting this year.

🚌 We want to make you aware that there was a minor accident involving Route 3’s school bus this afternoon. Thankfully, there were no injuries, and all students are safe. Students have been transferred to another bus and are currently on their way to their regular drop-off locations.
